Pine Knot Job Corps HVAC Replacement

AMENDMENT 0001 - 30 October 2024 - The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to provide Government responses to Quoter questions. As a result:

1) Attachment 6 - Government Responses to Quoter Questions is attached.

2) The site visit sign-in sheet is included for informational purposes.

As a reminder, quotations are due to Ian.Barnes@usda.gov no later than 0900AM EDT on 1 November 2024.

COMBINED SYNOPSIS-SOLICITATION. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

(i) The solicitation number is 12441925Q0003 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

(ii) This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $19 Million.

(iv) The place of performance of this combined synopsis/solicitation: Pine Knot Job Corps CCC, Daniel Boone National Forest, 132 Job Corp Road, Pine Knot, KY 42635

(v) One site visit will be held on 28 October 2024 at 0900AM EDT. The location of the site visit is the Pine Knot Job Corps CCC, 132 Job Corp Road, Pine Knot, KY 42635.

(vi) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, apply to this acquisition.

(vii) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a single firm fixed price contract award resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter having submitted the lowest priced offer that satisfies all terms and conditions of this solicitation. All items must be quoted to be eligible for award.

(ix) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, does apply to this acquisition with no addenda to the provision.

(xi) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) ratings do not apply to this acquisition.

(xii) The due date for receipt of proposals is Friday, November 1, 2024 at 0900 Eastern Standard Time. All quotation will be emailed to: IAN.BARNES@USDA.GOV. The contractor should submit their quotation in either PDF or Word format.

(xiv) Contractors are encouraged to email IAN.BARNES@USDA.GOV if they have questions. No questions will be accepted after 29 October 2024. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure that the email submitted is received in a timely manner. The Government reserves the right to cancel this combined synopsis/solicitation.
