Description

Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide a software as a service (SaaS) solution to replace our current solution known as Babies Information and Billing System (BIBS) to the Georgia Department of Public Health (hereinafter, the State Entity or Department) as further described in this eRFP. This solicitation event is being procured by the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) on behalf of the State Entity.

The Department oversees the Babies Cant Wait (BCW) program and manages the contracts for providers that deliver services across the state. The local Public Health District facilitates the day-to-day management of the program at the local level, which includes supervising the contract providers that work within their district. All members of the BCW program (i.e., State level, local level, and contract providers) utilize the program data system to access and complete the following: documentation of services received, notes/communication between the family and providers, maintaining of child records, billing, referral information (including family and child demographic information such as medical records, evaluations, assessments, insurance information, and development plans), and data related to transition.
