PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Cudahy, California (City) invites sealed
Bids for the Project. The City will receive such Bids at the City Clerks office, City Hall, 5220 Santa
Ana Street, Cudahy, CA 90201 up to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at which
time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
No bid will be received unless it is made on a proposal form furnished by the City. All bid forms
including all schedules attached thereto must be filled in and completed.
The Scope of Work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals
as described in detail in the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications to
construct the project. Major work components include, without limitation, furnishing all necessary
labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily
complete the Project, which consists of and includes construction of skatepark, basketball court,
tennis court, children playground, water play splash pad, outdoor fitness area with equipment,
park storage building, renovation of park lighting and electrical system, renovation of the park
landscape and irrigation system, furnishing and installing park site furnishings and amenities, and
other improvements as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be
performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies
with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials
to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual
quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer.
Copies of the Bidding and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications can be obtained as
follows:

Upon receipt of your e-mail, you will be registered as a plan holder, and a pdf file of the Bidding
and Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications will be e-mailed to you at no cost.
2. Hard copies will not be mailed.
The Contractor shall complete all work within 160 working days (including long lead time material
procurement) of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
Estimated cost is $6,905,000.00
Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check or a cashier's check or bidder's bond
made payable to the City of Cudahy for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total
contract price.
In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, City of
Cudahy has determined that the contractor shall possess a Class A-General Engineering
Contractor valid California Contractors License. Failure to possess such license may render the
bid as non-responsive and bar the award of the contract to that non-responsive Bidder. The
successful Contractor and subcontractors will be required to possess business licenses from the
City of Cudahy.
This project is subject to the requirements of SB 854. Prevailing wages shall be paid to all workers
in accordance with California Labor Code 1771. All Bidders and listed subcontractors must be
currently registered with the California State Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor
Code §1725.5 prior to submitting a Bid.
