DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING SERVICES

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking bids from experienced and qualified contractors to provide Speech-to-Text Typewell, Speech-to-Text Real-Time, and Speech-to-Text Notetaker services for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students. These services come in a variety of settings which may include classrooms, practicum and training placements, field trips, advising sessions, study groups, appointments with instructors, extracurricular activities and other educational settings. Last fiscal year CSN utilized approximately 1857 hours for agency Speech-to-Text services. Services are on an as needed basis and there is no guarantee of the volume of services that will be requested by CSN. CSN’s intent is to provide Speech-to-Text services either in person or remotely to students on an as needed basis.
