Project Description

Scope of Work: This is a roof replacement project of the historic War Memorial Opera House building located at 301 Van Ness Ave. The intent of this project is to replace the existing, and likely original, lead-coated copper roof to match. This includes replacing the mansard metal roofing around the perimeter of the original building. Some reroofing associated exterior repairs are also included in the project scope. In addition, there is a bid alternate to design and install a fall protection system and roof access ladders. The building will be fully operational and open to the public during construction.
