Project Description: The Lake Marion WRF Advanced Wastewater Treatment (AWT) Project is located at 1001 Lake Marion Creek Dr., Poinciana, Florida 34759. The existing WRF has a permitted capacity of 3.0 million gallons per day (MGD) annual average flow (AADF) and utilizes Modified Ludzack–Ettinger (MLE) process for biological nutrient removal. The project will modify the biological nutrient removal (BNR) process by adding new baffle walls, mixers, new internal recycle (IR) pumps, air pipe modifications, reconfigurations of existing aeration basins, and a new chemical feed and storage to meet AWT standards. In addition, the project will include a new mechanical screen, pretreatment concrete and protective coating repairs at the headworks, a new odor control system, disc filter replacement, reject pond liner repairs, construction of a metal storage building, and installation of a new generator.
