INVITATION TO BID – Pre-Security Renovations Project
The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority will release a bid package in early July 2025 for pre-security terminal renovations at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW). The project will include upgrades and renovations to the ticket lobby, baggage claim, finishes, lighting, signage, and baggage handling systems.

The Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority (CWVRAA) is planning to invest in Terminal renovations and updates to the Public Area, up to the Security Check Point (Pre-Security). These areas will include the Ticket Lobby, the Ramp area located just outside the Landside Concession (Java Moon Café), Baggage Claim, and all public circulation from the Ticket Lobby through to the Baggage Claim. The following represents an overview of the proposed Pre-Security Renovations by Bid Package:
BASE BID:
a. Ticket Lobby Improvements, including:
i. Replace existing Ticket Counter Millwork
ii. New digital displays above the Ticket Counters
iii. Update Lobby Flooring
iv. New Lobby Finishes and Lighting
v. Replace Lobby Skylight with a Roof Monitor
vi. Create Self-Service Check In Kiosk Area with Acrylic Wall Panels
vii. Assumes some minor HVAC, FP, FA adjustments (as needed)
viii. New ramp to Java Moon Café
ix. New Partition and Door to Separate Ramp from Arrivals
x. New Vestibules (i.e. new door systems, glazing, lighting and walk-off carpeting)
b. Pre-Security Flooring and Finish Updates:
i. Includes all remaining public pre-security flooring, ceilings, and lighting.
c. Bag Claim Updates:
i. Update Ceiling system
ii. Decorative Wood Wall Panels
iii. New Lighting
iv. Recess Sprinkler Heads
The current anticipated construction duration is 180 Working Days with a projected start date of early October but will be ultimately at the discretion of the successful Bidder.
