New Housing Units at River Bend

NOTICE OF BID

Bid proposals are invited and will be received by the Litchfield Housing Authority (LHA) until 2:00PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Sealed bids are to be submitted in person at Litchfield Town Hall First Selectman’s Office at 74 West St, Litchfield, CT. Bids will be publicly opened.. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided.

An OPTIONAL pre-bid conference will be held at the site, 111 Wells Run Road on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 1:00PM. All prospective bidders are invited to attend. Questions must be submitted to Erin Benken via email at ebenken@qamarch.com by 5:00pm on May 19, 2026 and all questions and responses will be distributed via addendum by 5:00pm on May 21, 2026.

A Bid Bond is not required. A 100% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is required by the selected contractor at the time of construction start.

Contract Documents including plans & specifications can be viewed and purchased online at the Advanced Reprographics website beginning on May 29, 2026. Visit www.advancedplanroom.com and select “New Units at River Bend”.

Note: Addenda to this bid will be issued via email. Contractors intending to bid MUST BE REGISTERED on the Advanced Reprographics plan holder’s list to receive a direct email of all addenda.

Bids, to receive consideration, must be in the hands of the authorized representative, no later than the day and hour mentioned above.

The Litchfield Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Litchfield Housing Authority.

All bids will be considered valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days.
