Description:

This contract covers two research areas: Potential and Goals and Industry and Market Studies.
The Potential and Goals portion of this contract will cover all research needs to support forecasting activities to determine energy savings potential available to inform the CPUC¿s decision to set goals for Program Administrators. This is a dynamic research area influenced by developments in the Integrated Resources Planning (IRP)  and the Distributed Energy Resources Cost Effectiveness  proceedings, as well as developments led by legislation such as SB350 and AB 802.
For the Industry and Market Studies portion of this Contract, this Contract covers a variety of research needs with the objective of improving knowledge of energy efficiency market dynamics, barriers and opportunities to improve program design and targeting.
