Description
The City of Statesboro is seeking bids from qualified contractors for well drilling services at the Bruce Yawn Commerce Park Well. This project involves the drilling and construction of a new Upper Floridan Aquifer well, featuring a 10-m inch carrier pipe, 20-inch steel casing, and a vertical turbine pump system. The scope of work includes:
Construction of a new well house; installation of an associated chemical feed system; connection to the existing water distribution system; provision and installation of all necessary electrical appurtenances, including a standby generator; implementation and removal of erosion and sediment control measures; site grading and paving of an access road; and completion of all other miscellaneous tasks as specified in the contract plans and documents.
