The scope of this project is to expand the ground water system with two new wells and provide an additional 1.0 MG ground water storage tank and high service pump station for a future interconnection with Barrow County. The two new wells will require a skid mounted treatment system along with chemical addition. The treatment system, chemicals, and high service pumps and storage tank will be centrally located down a private drive off Charlie Smith Road. Then, approximately 1-mile of 16¿ water main will connect the new infrastructure to the distribution system.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Braselton Public Works, 4986 Hwy 53, Braselton, GA 30517 followed immediately by a visit to the project site. Then, bids will be received at the Town of Braselton, Town Hall, 4982 Hwy 53, Braselton, GA 30517, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, February 17, 20265. The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:
The project includes two new wells, a packaged treatment system, 1-million-gallon ground level storage tank, high service pump station, 4,900 linear feet of 16¿ water main, and all system piping and appurtenances.
Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be three hundred (300) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER.
