ITB UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography Generator Replacement

Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), the University of Georgia is issuing this Invitation to Bid to accept bids for UGA SKIO Generator replacement, per the attached Bid Specifications. Pricing must include all applicable costs for products or services, including any applicable shipping charges FOB Destination to Savannah, GA, and all other requirements as outlined in the Specifications.  All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Office via the Questions function on this solicitation.  Prospective bidders should only contact the University of Georgia Procurement Office regarding this solicitation.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, skills, equipment, for the successful completion of the aforementioned project. Specifications and contract documents can be found in Buyers Attachments of this solicitation or can be obtained electronically by sending an email request for such documents to the Issuing Officer, Kim Eldridge at kimberly.eldridge@uga.edu. All questions regarding bid documents shall be sent to the same email address. No questions will be answered via telephone.
Please note that there is a Mandatory Bidder¿s Conference.  The Conference begins promptly at 10:00 AM. Meeting location is UGA Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, 10 Ocean Science Circle, Savannah, GA 31411.
This solicitation is to establish an agency contract for the University of Georgia.  The initial term of the contract and any renewal options shall be in accordance with the Agency Contract Cover Sheet.
The primary intent of this RFQ is to identify a single source (lowest priced, responsive and responsible supplier) to provide all of the needed goods and/or services; however, the University of Georgia reserves the right to make split awards.
