Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to Issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

below in the anticipated schedule*. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA.

Project Description:
Special Drainage Studies for Districts 3, 6 and 7
Summary of Scope of Work:
The Consultant shall provide on-call consultant services for Special Drainage Studies and construction plans, as
needed. The Special Drainage Studies will include hydraulic and hydrologic analysis and design (1- & 2-
dimensional modeling), scour, water quality, loss of sediment, flooding, and stream restorations. The Special
Drainage Studies may also include preparation for litigation or responding to inquiries. Services may also include
assistance with review of Design Variances and Design Exceptions in accordance with GDOT policies and
procedures, and with research and development of guidance relating to roadway design policy. It is anticipated
that most of this work will be handled by the consultant on a task order basis but may also require the consultant
to provide one or more staff to reside within GDOT.

allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT including the
Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the
upcoming Request for Qualifications, with the contact designated in the PNA/RFQ or as provided by any
existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the
submittal of the offending respondent.
