Sealed proposals from General Contractors will be received by The Carroll County School System in at 164 Independence Dr, Carrollton, GA 30116 until 2:00pm on 05/07/2026 for construction of:
NEW CLASSROOM ADDITION TO: GLANTON HINDSMAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
118 GLANTON ST, VILLA RICA, GA 30180

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00am on 04/21/2026 at 118 Glanton St, Villa Rica, GA 30180. Any person or entity that fails to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting will not be permitted to submit a Proposal for the Project and any Proposal submitted by a person or entity that did not attend the manda-tory pre-proposal meeting will be returned unopened.

Competitive Sealed Proposals will be opened by the Review Committee and scored as outlined in the Instructions to Proposers. Proposals will not be opened publicly. The Owner will notify the proposers, in writing, of the results.
1.2 BID DOCUMENTS
A. Proposal forms and construction documents may be examined at Southern A & E¿s office at 7951 Troon Circle, Austell, Georgia 30168 or by calling 770-819-7777 to request a password and a link to Southern A & E¿s online plan service to view the documents. Upon further request documents may be downloaded for printing or hard copies may be ordered through the online plan service. Only complete sets will be provided for downloading or as hardcopies.
B. No deposits are required and no refunds will be made.
C. Construction documents will not be sent to plan rooms.
1.3 QUESTIONS
A. Submit all questions concerning the Contract Documents to the Architect in writing. Replies will be issued to all proposers of record as Addenda to the Drawings and Specifications and will become part of the Contract for Construction. All addenda may be examined at Southern A & E¿s office, and all addenda will be issued on Southern A & E¿s online plan room. All prospective bidders will be notified via email when an addendum has been posted to the plan room. See documents for more info.
