Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated ยงยง50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide evidence-based services under Family First Phase 2 to the Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Family & Children Services (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.
The primary purpose of this eRFP is to solicit proposals to provide evidence-based services to families involved in open Division of Family and Children Services Family Preservation cases. The intent is to reduce the number of children entering foster care by providing intensive, appropriate in-home and community-based services to the child and their families, supporting Georgia's implementation of the Family First Prevention Services Act. This initiative will operate as Family First Phase 2.
The secondary purpose of this eRFP is to support the selected supplier in implementing and operating trauma-informed, evidence-based programs.
