Scope of Work:
Replace carpet and base in classrooms E-6, E-10, E-12, and W-7. Includes the demolition and removal of existing carpet, resilient base, floor tiles, and adhesives.
Remove the floor tiles and base, and replace with quartz tiles in rooms 3, 44, 54, 73, 75, and 96. Includes demolition and removal of resilient base, floor tiles, and adhesives. Move and store furniture and other items as required, to facilitate flooring installation. Repair all damage caused by demolition of existing flooring and flooring installation as drawn and specified. Asbestos containing materials are present.
Sealed bids for the Replacement of Asbestos Flooring at George L. Dilworth Middle School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on March 2, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting held at 2:30 p.m. on February 13, 2026, at George L. Dilworth Middle School (Meet in Front of the Office) 255 Prater Way, Sparks, NV 89431. Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
