Addendum #2

ADDENDUM #2 The plans and specifications are modified, corrected,
augmented or supplemented as follows and this Addendum #2 is hereby made
a part of the RFP documents. Vendor shall note on the form below that this
Addendum #1 has been received and include the completed form in the
submitted proposal.
SCOPE OF WORK CLARIFICATION:
1. Furnish and place new 4,000psi concrete with 6% air-entrainment and
fiber mesh reinforcing.
2. Use equipment of a size that will not impact the adjacent concrete,
pavement, or lawn areas.
3. Saw cut the existing concrete as necessary to perform new work.
4. Dispose of all demolished concrete to a local recycling plant.
5. Grade and compact all sub-base under removed existing concrete walk
areas as required upon field inspection.
6. Do not directly place new concrete to any area with existing pavers.
These areas shall be formed first instead.
7. Install #4 dowels in adjacent concrete using Hilti HY200 (or approved
equal) dowels.
8. Tool all expansion and control joints in all new concrete. Owner seeks
advisement of any additional joints to aid in eliminating cracks upon
contractor field inspection.
9. Roller apply a curing sealer to all new concrete.
10.Remove all door operator pedestals impacted by work temporarily and
reinstall to meet existing conditions as part of project completion.
11. Remove all debris from demolition and installation from adjacent lawn
areas.
