Description
The City of Delta is soliciting proposals from engineering consulting companies with relevant knowledge and
experience to design a gravity irrigation intake from Fraser River near 96 Street and River Road. The scope of work also includes preparing a long-term strategy to improve the supply of irrigation water from the Fraser River to Delta’s irrigation system in order to enhance agricultural productivity. This project is partially funded by the BC Ministry of Agriculture through the Investment Agriculture Foundation’s Food Security Emergency Planning & Preparedness (FSPP) Fund.
A Proponents meeting has been scheduled for 2:00pm on January 10, 2024 at 9570 River Road, Delta, BC (Gravelridge Pump Station). Please ensure you park safely as this is a busy road. Attendance at the Proponents’ meeting is not mandatory but we would appreciate a confirmation email to the contact person if you plan to attend.
