Summary

The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit proposals for the implementation of Obstetric (OB) Emergency Simulation Trainings for Emergency Medicine Providers. The purpose of these trainings is to improve the knowledge and readiness of emergency medicine providers to recognize, treat, and manage obstetric emergencies. This RFQ seeks to build off the previous years of the current DCY project (described below) by providing more training (specifically targeting hospitals in labor and delivery deserts) on the leading causes of maternal mortality in Ohio, by offering a train-the-trainer session, and by creating sustaining content. The Contractor will use this final year of funding to expand the reach of this DCY project by focusing efforts on equipping more hospitals and emergency response services with the knowledge, resources, and skills to provide OB emergency trainings beyond the length of this DCY project.
