Liquid Asphalt

Washington County, Oregon is requesting sealed bids for a Liquid Asphalt requirements contract for the Department of Land Use and Transportation, Operations Division. This will be a 5 year contract with an estimated expenditure of $2,500,000.00 total. Escalation/De-Escalation language will be included in the contract in case the selected vendor cannot hold their price for the length of the contract. Quantities listed are estimates only and are listed for bid comparisons. Actual quantities will vary depending on work programs and scheduled activities.

The County intents to award only one contract to the lowest responsible bidder who provides quotes on all listed items.

Washington County is a political subdivision of the State of Oregon. It is located west of Portland, Oregon and extends to the coastal mountains. The County seat of government and major facilities are located in Hillsboro, Oregon, approximately 20 miles from downtown Portland. Washington County uses Liquid Asphalt for it's Road Maintenance activities.
