Description: |
PSERS is soliciting proposals from qualified professional proxy advisory firms to assist with the monitoring, analysis, and execution of proxy voting. Offerors are expected to have strong knowledge of shareholder and management proposals, proxy voting, and related reporting that is supported by robust industry research and broad coverage of both domestic and international companies. PSERS is the administrator of a cost-sharing, multiple-employer, defined benefit retirement system established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide pension benefits for employees of the public school system in the Commonwealth. PSERS’ funding policy provides for periodic member contributions at statutory rates and periodic employer contributions at actuarially determined rates that are sufficient to accumulate assets to pay defined benefits when due. | ||||||
