Bridge 358 Superstructure Replacement
Sealed bids for the replacement of an existing bridge superstructure with a new composite, prestressed concrete spread box beam superstructure will be received online via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) by the City of York, York County, Pennsylvania until 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available end of business day, same date.
Copies of Bidding Documents for Bridge 358 Superstructure Replacement are available online and at no cost via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
NOTE: The City of York Council has authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc., to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of the City of York.
A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to the City of York in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid.
Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
The Contract Time for this project is one hundred thirty-five (135) calendar days.
The City of York reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
