RFQ-484-02192026DB SR 25 at Darien River Bridge Replacement Project

Georgia DOT is seeking to contract with a Design-Builder to provide design and construction services necessary for the design and construction of a new bridge approximately 1,441-foot-long, 55-foot-wide offset 40 feet west of the existing alignment along SR 25/US 17/SR 99/N. Walton Street at the Darien River. The project will maintain two-lane, two-way traffic during construction by first building a portion of the new bridge, shifting traffic to it, then demolishing the old bridge and completing the remaining span. The corridor covers approximately 0.5 mile and includes pedestrian facilities such as a shared-use path and sidewalk.

This Project will be awarded to a Design-Builder utilizing a Two-Phase Best Value method. A Design-Builder includes a Lead Contractor and a Lead Design Consultant working together to design and construct the project. See the RFQ for additional details.
