Description

Lonsdale Energy is seeking proposals from interested proponents (Proponents) in response to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to provide Consultant Services to conduct an Alternative Safety Approach for its new
Sewage Heat Recovery Plant (SHRP). The SHRP is expected to generate 6MW of heat by harnessing heat from sewage from the nearby Metro Vancouver - North Vancouver Sewer Interceptor and utilizing a heat pump system. The SHRP project is currently in the detailed design process.

The Alternative Safety Approaches (ASA) program offers more flexibility for owners and operators to manage safety in their facilities. It provides a variance to existing regulations, codes, or standards by approving safety
management systems or plans that detail alternative methods to achieve an
equivalent or superior level of safety.
