Title: Grande-Entrée Temporary measures stone and dredging

Scope of Work/Deliverables:

The installation of a temporary floating dock line at the Grande-Entrée fishing harbour in the Magdalen Islands region, following the wharf fire, includes, but is not limited to, the following work:

.1        Partial demolition and reconstruction of stone protection to allow installation of anchor blocks and gangway bases.

.2        Sediment dredging in the area of the floating dock line installation and land based sediment management.

.3        For dredging work, a containment curtain will be put in place to contain suspended particles.

.4        Storage of part of the sediment (23 000 tm) on DFO land at the Grande-Entrée site and loading, transport and storage of the rest of the sediment on land located 12 km from the work site.

.5        Supply of materials and labour for the manufacture of crib serving as bases for gangways.

.6        Supply of granular materials, grading and compaction work for installation of blocks and gangway bases.

.7        Supply of labor and machinery for installation of floating docs and accessories, including all site adjustments. Galvanized steel components (fastening system, overlap plate, cleats, etc.) are already installed on floating docs.

.8        Floating docs, galvanized steel accessories, steel cables, fastening hardware between floating docs and aluminum gangways are supplied by the Departmental Representative.
