Modular Building for Fire Rescue Station 75

City of Deerfield Beach, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive sealed bids from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, to provide a Modular Building for Fire Rescue Services, as specified in this Invitation to Bid, to include all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to design, manufacture, deliver, and install one (1) new modular building of approximately 24 feet by 68 feet at the City-designated site, including foundation, anchoring, skirting, ADA ramp and step assembly, appliance package, and all engineering and submittals, in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of work, drawings, and technical specifications of the above mentioned Invitation to Bid Construction.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held on August 19, 2026, at 10:30 A.M. ET at the project site, 71 SE 21st Avenue, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. Bidders are responsible for their own transportation and shall comply with all site safety requirements while on City property.

Attendance is encouraged but not required. No verbal statement made at the Pre-Bid Site Visit shall bind the City. Questions arising from the Pre-Bid Site Visit shall be submitted through the eProcurement Marketplace no later than the Close Date and Time for Questions, and any resulting change will be issued by addendum.

Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through eProcurment Marketplace by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via eProcurement.

Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess a Florida State Certified General Contractor's license. Refer to Section IV, Article 1 – Mandatory Minimum Qualifications for additional information.

Bid Guaranty: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, or other acceptable alternative, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (Refer to Bid Guaranty, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). The original bid bond or cashier's check must also be delivered to Procurement by the Close Date and Time.

The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax.

The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City.

Bids will be accepted through a secure mailbox at eProcurement (https://deerfield-beach.ionwave.net/HomePage.aspx) until the Deadline for Submission as indicated in this ITBC. Late Bids will not be accepted. The City will only accept electronic bids for this ITBC.
