Description

The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) intends to award a sole source contract to, EMD Millipore Corporation, Burlington, MA. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested Government shall consider all responses.



The requirement is for eight (8) Millipore Milli-Q water purification systems which can purify and store RO water in a 50 Liter Tank and deliver ultra-pure 0.22μm filtered water at point-of-use. Need seven (7) Milli-Q EQ 7016 systems which are a Type 1 ultra-pure water purification system that uses cold tap feed, features a built-in or wall-mounted point-of-use dispenser, HMI digital display, a 50L RO tank collecting RO Type 3 water, at least 16 L/ hour make-up rate, at point-of-use the RO water is polished to Type 1 ultrapure water with 0.22μm polisher filter. Also need one (1) Milli-Q IQ 7010 system which is a Type 1 ultra-pure water purification system that uses cold tap feed, has a digital display, a 50L RO tank collecting RO Type 2 pure water, at least 10 L/ hour make-up rate, the RO water is then polished to Type 1 ultra-pure water with 0.22μm polisher filter and dispensed at a remote bench top QPOD dispenser with touchscreen. The NAICS code for this action is 334516. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
