Scope
|
The intent is for the County to enter a contract for the procurement of service repairs and parts with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealers. Service repair requests may be performed at county facility locations or the contractor’s facility. The County requires that all contractors provide Original Equipment Manufacturer certified trained technicians to perform all requested service repairs. The County requires that all installed or procured parts be of Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications. All
The County will be supplied a quote on all service repairs and approval given before any repairs are started. Any additional repairs not included in the quote need to be identified and approved before being performed. All repairs will be invoiced by line item and match the original quote supplied. The contractor is required to maintain a safe and environmentally controlled workspace while at any county facility. The contractor is responsible for all cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials after all service repairs. The procurement of Original Equipment Manufacturer parts is intended to maintain operations of all equipment as factory new. It is also the intent not to jeopardize any factory warranty with the replacement of non-Original Equipment Manufacturer parts. Any non-Original Equipment Manufacturer part needs to be supported by the original manufacture as an approved replacement part. |
