General Notice
Clear Creek County (County) is seeking proposals through a Request for Quote (RFQ) from highly
qualified and licensed firms to provide crushing and screening machinery for hire. Project location
is 3400 Stanley Road, Dumont, CO 80436.
The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, providing machinery capable of crushing up
to nominal size 24-inch-diameter boulders to produce nominal size 1-inch-diameter and less
aggregate material. Other salient features include guidance for efficiently producing CDOT Class 6
aggregate base course, onsite demonstration for setup, operation, maintenance, and preparation
for return of machinery.

METHOD OF SUBMITTAL
The County reserves the right to reject any or all Submittals, including without limitation,
nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Submittals. Submittals will be
compared on the basis of the Total Quote Price.
a) Submittals shall include:
i. Submittal Form (included in the RFQ)
ii. Official company rental agreement on company letterhead that includes all terms
and conditions and machinery specified for rental period
iii. Confirmation of equipment availability for a 4-week period between the dates of
September 13th and October 31st, 2026
iv. Optional supplemental information (i.e. brochures)
b) Submittals shall only be submitted electronically as a pdf documents, sent to

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
1. Provide machinery for rent capable of crushing approximately 5,000 cubic-yards of
nominal size 24-inch-diameter boulders down to 1-inch-diameter and less aggregate
material. Other salient features include guidance for efficiently producing CDOT Class 6
aggregate base course, for a rental period of 4 weeks between the dates of September
13th and October 31st, 2026
2. Assist County staff in setting up the machinery onsite: 3400 Stanley Road, Dumont, CO
80436
3. Instruct County staff on how to operate and perform basic maintenance requirements
anticipated to be necessary during the rental period
4. Assist/instruct County staff on shutdown and demobilization of the machinery
It is noted that transporting of machinery is NOT part of this scope.
