The City of Asheville, NC is requesting proposals, per North Carolina General Statute
§143-129.8 Purchase of Information Technology Goods and Services, from qualified firms to
provide equipment and services as listed below:
Description of Work:
The City of Asheville’s IT Services department is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for a
comprehensive, cloud-to-cloud backup and recovery solution for our Google Workspace
environment, specifically targeting Google Workspace email (Gmail), Google Drive and Google
Chat data. Because the City is legally obligated to provide written documentation and comply
with public records requests, maintaining strict and accessible historical records is a critical
requirement of this procurement.

The City of Asheville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
