Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBidTM by The Municipal Authority of the Borough of Morrisville for “2026 Water Main Replacement”, Contract No. W-57 until 9:00 o'clock AM, prevailing time, on the 18th day of June 2026 at which time they will be publicly read at the Municipal Authority of the Borough of Morrisville office, 35 Union Street, Morrisville, PA 19067. Questions will be answered until 9:00 o'clock AM, prevailing time, on the 12th day of June 2026 All documents and solicitation details are available anytime at PennBidTM (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). The Scope of Work for these projects is available through PennBidTM. Owner will purchase all water system materials under separate contract.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the state where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
