Solicitation Summary
Carlson software is used within the Plats and Surveys Division to perform advanced survey computations
and calculations, process field-run topographic data from multiple survey instrumentation, process lidar
point clouds, perform right-of-way plat computations, analyze cross-section data, and many other complex
survey functions. This program will also provide us with the ability to review and evaluate survey data
collected by other surveyors to validate survey deliverables regardless of the CADD platform. These
functions are vital to the Division and our ability to maintain project schedules.
