Description
Community: Carmacks and Pelly Crossing
Traditional Territory: Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation, Selkirk First Nation
This project consists of construction of approximately 16.2 kilometres of the Klondike Highway from kilometre 414.5 to kilometre 430.7. The work consists of but is not limited to: mobilization and demobilization; traffic control; grubbing; clearing and salvage; stripping; roadway excavation; constructing subgrade, sub-base and base courses; removing and disposing of existing culverts; supplying and installing corrugated steel pipe; supplying and installing steel beam guiderail; supplying and installing thrie beam, thrie beam transitions and end terminals; supplying and applying calcium chloride; supplying and applying HF-250S emulsion; applying bituminous surface treatment aggregate; line painting pre-marking; supplying and applying warm mix asphalt; and environmental compliance.
The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s).
