The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids from qualified Contractors toprovide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services, permits, and incidentals required to perform allrequirements as specified herein, and indicated for the purpose of construction of a sidewalk, signalimprovements, and associated road work located at Grace Miller Elementary School and Liberty High Schoolas indicated in drawings provided. All requirements shall be provided in accordance with this IFB and the ProjectPlan Set. This project includes Federal Transportation Alternatives Funds administered by the VirginiaDepartment of Transportation (VDOT). This solicitation is issued by the Fauquier County Procurement Divisionon behalf of the Fauquier County General Services Department, herein referred to for convenience as âOwner.âVDOT and Fauquier County Board of Supervisorsâ approval is required for the award of a contract resultingfrom this solicitation.
