Title: Electric Vehicle Charger Infrastructure Design Services (P34C1)
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 6/16/2025
Due Date: 7/2/2025
The Department of Public Works (Department) plans, designs, constructs, operates, manages and maintains all County-owned facilities to ensure they are safe and accessible to the community, the clients of County agencies, and County employees. The Department has a budget of approximately $200 million and is staffed with over 300 employees in five divisions: Administrative Services, Airports, Engineering and Resources Protection, Facility Services and Road Services supporting the 46 special districts governed by the Board of Supervisors and administered by the Department.
The Department seeks proposals from qualified architectural and engineering consulting firms (Consultants) to design the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment and Infrastructure (Project) at fourteen (14) different County-owned facilities to serve the County's current and future Electric Vehicle (EV) Fleet. The Project will enable the County to achieve carbon neutrality for government operations by 2035, as directed by the County’s 2021 Government Operations Climate Action Plan (GOCAP), by accelerating adoption of zero-emission vehicles for the County's fleet.
The Department has outlined the scope of work in Section 2. that will serve the County's light and medium-duty EV fleet and should be addressed by Proposers.
