NOTICE TO ALL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS TO BECOME COUNTY DEPOSITORY

Pursuant to Section 27-105-305, Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended, the Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi will receive proposals from all financial institutions of said county until 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, to become County depository for DeSoto County, Mississippi, for (2) calendar years, with an option to renew for up to two additional years upon agreement of both parties. The agreement shall begin April 01, 2026 through year ending April 30, 2028 or until new arrangements can be made, for all county funds and subdivisions thereof, and funds for the Tax Collector or any part of said funds.  All accounts must be insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Federal Savings and Loan Corporation as required by law.  The proposals shall designate the kind of securities authorized by law, which the financial institutions propose to give as securities for funds.

Specifications are on file in the Office of Procurement, DeSoto County Administration Building, 365 Losher Street, Suite 300, Hernando, Mississippi, during normal business hours. Information concerning this request can also be found on the Procurement Page at desotocountyms.gov. Electronic proposals can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com . All proposals must comply with the specifications provided. DeSoto County reserves the right to amend the specifications, as necessary, and agrees to notify all having requested packets from the DeSoto County Office of Procurement or reviewed the bid online.

The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive any technicalities.

All proposals submitted must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the envelopes as follows:
