  • Summary It is the intention of these plans and specifications that the contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to remove existing concrete patches over City utilities and replace them with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), as per the specifications outlined in the Contract Documents, including drawings, appendices, and addenda issued prior to bid submission.

It is the intention of these plans and specifications that the contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to remove existing concrete patches over City utilities and replace them with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), as per the specifications outlined in the Contract Documents, including drawings, appendices, and any addenda issued prior to bid submission. The work covered under this contract shall be performed in a manner that ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and to the satisfaction of the City of Kalamazoo, hereinafter referred to as the "City," through its Public Services Department. All work shall be completed in accordance with the best industry practices, and in a safe and efficient manner.
