Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE:

(THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE)

The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico intends to award a single source firm fixed price contract to Low Voltage Wiring, doing business as LVW Electronics, Cage Code:62873, Address: 1540 Quail Lake Loop, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. LVW Electronics possesses specialized knowledge and proven experience in implementing complex security systems within theDepartment of Defense (DoD) framework. Their ongoing contract to overhaul the security infrastructure at Cannon AFB demonstrates their deep understanding of DoD security protocols and their ability to deliver large-scale projects successfully. Aligning the Building 4562 project with LVW Electronics leverages their established expertise with the existing base security system. This approach guarantees seamless integration, eliminates compatibility risks, and ensures consistent security protocols across installations. Deviating from this strategy would introduce significant technical challenges, jeopardizing system interoperability and potentially compromising overall security posture. This project is already two years behind schedule, and any further delays would have severe consequences for mission-critical operations at Cannon AFB. Specifically, disruptions to TS (Top Secret) capabilities, including High-Level ASOT (Advanced Special Operations Techniques) training and joint combined exercise debriefs, would severely impact readiness and operational effectiveness. This purchase will be made under FAR Part 12 Commerical, FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Other than Full and Open Competition and using FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing a complete information describing their ability to provide the products listed above. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

The closing date for this notice is 20 March 2025 at 12:00PM (MDT). For information regarding this purchase, please contactJohn Ambruse at john.ambrus.2@us.af.mil.
