TOWN OF BRECKENRIDGE

The Town of Breckenridge is soliciting written bids from qualified parties to be considered.  Interested parties shall submit a written bid by the stated deadline, meet the established criteria as described in the attached instructions, and represent the intent, proven capability, and true commitment.  Information submitted will be subject to verification.

The Town of Breckenridge is seeking bids for the installation and take-down of Holiday Lighting in the Breckenridge SH 9 Median, SH 9 Round-a-bout, Town Sign, Blue River Plaza, Riverwalk Corridor area, Town Hall, Breck Pro Building and approximately 170 Garlands & Bows on Town Streetlights and bridges. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all holiday light installations are connected to digital timers equipped with battery backup. It has been estimated that approximately 70 digital timers will be required to adequately manage holiday light installations throughout the Town of Breckenridge.  Digital timers must be programmed to operate on a predetermined schedule as agreed upon with the Town of Breckenridge. The contractor will be responsible for all necessary preparation work.  The contractor will be responsible for any and all tools and or equipment necessary to complete the work in a safe manner.  The contractor will be responsible for professional traffic control, including a Traffic Control Supervisor during the installation and takedown process to include the shutting down of two lanes adjacent to the work site.

  • There will not be a pre-bid meeting.
  • There is a question deadline of September 14th, 2026 at 11:00 am
  • Deadline for submission of bids shall be 4:30 pm on September 16 th , 2026

All materials submitted become the property of the Town and may be made public in whole or in part at the discretion of the Town with two notable exceptions. Information marked confidential such as trade secrets and references shall be treated as privileged information and confidential commercial information under the Colorado Open Records Law.
