Jemez Dam Vegetation Removal

This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act.

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform mechanical removal of trees, shrubs and grasses within the designated work area as defined in this Statement of Work except for those items specified as Government furnished property and services.

The Jemez Canyon Dam outlet works and the stilling basin have become inundated with sediment that promoted vegetation growth. The Albuquerque District requires this vegetation removed to promote unobstructed outflow from the dam.
