ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed bids for Construction of Industrial Building Renovations, will be received by Searcy County, at Searcy County Courthouse, 200 Hwy 27, Marshall, AR 72650, until 2:00 O’clock P.M., on August 20, 2025, and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Copies of the Contract Documents MUST BE obtained at the office of MILLER-NEWELL ENGINEERS, 510 Third Street, Newport, Arkansas 72ll2, Phone: 870-523-6531 upon the payment of $150 for each set. Successful bidders will be refunded $75 upon return of the Contract Documents in usable condition within 14 days after receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
In accordance with Act 150 of 1965, as amended, all bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
This project is funded in part through a $1,600,000 grant from the Economic Development Administration. Any necessary remaining funding will be provided through state and/or private sources.
The building is located at 205 Factory Road, Marshall, Arkansas. The building is open and can be viewed by the prospective bidder at any time from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
