The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to ensure the inspection, testing and certification of Thirty-Three (33) Backflow Devices. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Analyst listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 130797, March ARB Annual Backflow Testing and Certification and Contractor Business Name.

Prospective bidders may attend the optional pre-bid job walk on 9/24/2026, at 11:00 AM at March Air Reserve Base (ARB), 5237 Air Guard Way, Ste 23, Bldg 2276, March ARB, CA 92518. Arrive at least 30 minutes early and bring business cards. Please be sure to review the IFB Packet under Section 3.b. for further details of requirements to access the Base.

The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-36 - Plumbing Contractor license.

All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Joy Lubic at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov no later than 5:00 PM on 10/1/2026. Email subject lines must reference IFB No. 130797.

If an addendum is necessary, it will be issued prior to the Bid Submission Deadline. The bid opening will be held on 10/13/2026 at 2:15 PM.
