Cyber Security Upgrades - Firewalls Project

Lewisville Independent School District ("LISD", "District") is a Texas public school district located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, encompasses approximately 127 square miles, and has approximately 49,000 students and 6,400 staff members.

As part of the 2023 Bond Program, the Lewisville Independent School District (LISD) is inviting qualified vendors to submit proposals for the replacement of its current Cisco FTD firewalls with next-generation firewalls. The scope of this project includes:

Firewalls: Replacement of two firewalls set up in High Availability (HA) configuration across two data centers (a total of four firewalls).

On-Prem Management and Logging: Replacement of all on-premises management and logging systems.

Turn-Key Project: The project is turn-key and must include:

-Installation/professional support services

-Required hardware

-Licensing

-Five years of support and maintenance, as detailed in the provided part lists.

Vendor Requirements:

-Vendors proposing Cisco solutions must be certified Cisco Gold partners.

-Vendors proposing Palo Alto solutions must be Palo Alto Platinum or Diamond partners.

-Vendors proposing Fortinet should provide evidence of experience with similar Fortinet implementations.

Although the District is specifically requesting the pricing format set forth in the line items of this solicitation, vendors may provide alternative options as a part of this open solicitation process.
