Project Description: The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a licensed and qualified vendor(s) for fertilizing-related services requested in this RFP which shall include, but not be limited to, treating approximately 660 acres throughout Alpine School District. The selected vendor(s) shall provide fertilizer, equipment, and manpower to apply fertilizer to lawns and fields throughout the Alpine School District. In the District’s best interest, this RFP may result in contracts awarded to more than one vendor.
The methodology or formula that will be used to determine the number of contract awards is the number of vendors who exceed the minimum combined score threshold of 80 points.
The award of the contract does not guarantee the use or purchase of awarded vendors' products or services.
The conducting procurement unit may use at their discretion any of the awarded vendors for individual projects after making a best value determination for the project. This assessment can include but is not limited to budget, cost, individual school preference, district preference, and compatibility.
The closing date and time for this sourcing event is Thursday, February 20, 2025 @ 2:00 PM Mountain Time. It is your responsibility to make sure you submit your response by the date and time indicated above.
The contract resulting from this RFP will be for a maximum of five (5) years. In the event the District is dissolved or reconfigured, the awarded vendor shall honor the pricing provided to the District and allow any newly formed districts resulting from such dissolution or reconfiguration (“New Districts”) the opportunity to enter into an agreement with the awarded vendor under the same terms (including pricing) and for the same duration as are set forth in this contract. It is anticipated that Alpine School District will be reconfigured effective July 1, 2027 into three separate Districts temporarily called West, Central, and South.
Alpine School District's Department of Purchasing is the issuing procurement unit and Alpine School District Physical Facilities Department is the conducting procurement unit for this RFP (referred to as “the District”). The reference number for this RFP is Solicitation #ASD02202025HM. This solicitation number must be referred to on all proposals, correspondence, and documentation submitted to the District relating to this RFP.
