This contract action was not awarded competitively and was awarded on a fixed-price basis. The rationale for this non-competitive approach is that RS Microwave (CAGE 61453) is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the agency’s requirements for these specific filter NIINs due to RS Microwave possesses the unique technical expertise and proprietary design data required to manufacture the Filter, Fixed Notch and Filter, Band Pass to the required military specifications.
