The project involves the replacement of the existing chilled water plant, which includes: replacement of three existing chillers, two existing chilled water pumps, and two condenser water pumps; replacement and modification of piping, valves, and supports; installation of a new chiller plant control system; replacement of chiller plant instrumentation; electrical conduits, conductors, panels, and duct banks; installation of variable frequency controllers; modification of existing switchgear; and replacement of equipment pads. The project also includes modifications to campus chilled water piping, replacement of air handler chilled water control valves, demolition of existing booster pumps, and upgrading the existing Building Automation System (BAS).
