The Library of Congress (Library) Veterans History Project (VHP) requires contracted services to support the production of a 45-minute documentary video on the evolution of the Project over
the past 25 years, and the primary source materials derived from VHP’s archive. As an element of a celebration of VHP’s 25th Anniversary, the Library will post a three-minute trailer on the Library’s webpage (www.loc.gov) and other Library of Congress web properties. To align with the objectives for the 25th anniversary event, the video, trailer and “sizzle reels” must adhere to the perspective of VHP’s history over the past 25 years, as well as the Library Communications Office’s standards. The Library of Congress is a non-partisan agency and the video must reflect this perspective.
The contractor shall produce a video documentary and trailer using Library of Congress Veterans History Project collections as well as original footage including interviews of key past and present staff and participants. The contractor shall market the video, using the trailer, and pitch it to various media (commercial and streaming network markets) outlets.
Questions are due no later than 12:00 PM EST 03/06/2026. Answers to potential offeror questions will be posted as an amendment to the same web page where the solicitation is posted.
Proposals are due no later than 12:00 PM EST 03/20/2026.
