Bridge Repairs

Oconee County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors interested in repairing two (2) bridges located in Oconee County. Contractor must be GDOT pre-certified. Please see Section II of the bid documents for full Scope of Work.
Bidders must register at BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com//oconeecounty in order to respond to this solicitation. Bid responses must be submitted online by 10:00 am on June 2, 2026. No physical bids will be accepted.
A bid bond* in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and a Consent of Surety must be included with your bid submission prior to the bid closing. The Consent of Surety shall state that upon award of agreement, a Performance and Payment bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the total agreement amount can be furnished. *Surety companies executing bonds must be authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia.
Pursuant to Georgia law, no bids will be considered without an executed E-Verify affidavit. The successful bidder will be required to pay sales and use tax on materials purchased or used on this project. Progress payments and retainage for construction shall be submitted to owner monthly and payment terms are net thirty (30) days. This Public Works project shall commence within ten (10) days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and shall be completed within one hundred twenty (120) calendar days thereafter, unless otherwise specified.
