Fire Panel Replacement - Supply and Install

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (“REAL”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Fire Panel - Supply & Install as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).

REAL seeks proposals in response to this RFP from a qualified, experienced company to provide labour, equipment, materials, fuel, transportation, overhead and all that is necessary for the provision of completing the work associated to Fire Panel – Supply & Install at REAL that have high standards of workmanship and adequate resources to enable the completion of the Deliverables and other additional services in a responsive and cost-effective manner.

This scope of work covers the supply and install of a fire panel located on Campus at 1700 Elphinstone Street, Regina, SK as per Annex C – Drawings.

Mosaic Stadium has a Notifier panel that is proprietary to the Stadium. Our Campus buildings are integrated together by 4 fire panels; 3 of which are Notifier NFS2-3030 and 1 is an Edwards QS4 Fire alarm control pane. The Edwards system is outdated with an approximate installation and verification date of April 24, 2005. As this system is approximately 19 years old, it is setting off more false alarms, is less reliable during emergencies, and requires more frequent repairs. The Edwards panel controls and monitors modules within the blue zone 3 area pictured below. The modules are also proprietary to Edwards systems and replacements parts for fire panel are now obsolete.
