Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Keywords: Construction (Non Building), Landscaping, Bridge Repair and Construction, Culvert Replacement, Parks and Recreation, Road Construction Bid Description: The City of Montpelier, Vermont will receive bids at the office of the Montpelier Parks Director, City Hall, 39 Main St, Montpelier VT 05602 for the resurfacing of the North Branch River Path in the North Branch Park. The work may include, but is not limited to: • Resurface 2774’ x 10’ of gravel path with 6” of compacted ½” plant mix material, crowned ½”- ¾” per foot of width. • Establish silt fence during construction to minimize impacts on adjacent sensitive areas. • Re-establish ditching alongside path. • Repair stone headers and outlets on 5 existing culverts. • POTENTIAL ADD-ON: Build 2 steel-stringer bridges to replace existing culverts. See attachments for full scope of work this work is paid for with FEMA funds.
